  1. Fabulous! Thanks so much for the share! Love those trolls!! I understand exactly what you have/are going through .. it is almost the exact same story as my life too. I was 50yrs old before I threw in the towel of trying to cope on my own; and I haven’t looked back. My only regret is that I wasted so much of my life trying to “fix” myself!! I still have my ups and downs, but mostly they are just the same as everyone else’s .. I only rarely “go down the rabbit hole” in to not being able to function (the last time being when my doctor inadvertantly gave me the wrong dosage of my medication). Good luck to you on your journey to living a happy life, and for being brave enough to put it out there on your blog .. it is only through speaking up that we can get mental illness regarded the same as any other illness 🙂 Hugs!

    1. Thank you for your kind words Molly! You described perfectly what it’s like, falling down the rabbit hole… it really isn’t as simple as just “having a bad day” or “just being grateful for what you have”. And the smallest, most unexpected things can be a turning point, for better or worse. Medication helps but it isn’t a cure. And as you said, it can make things worse when it is not dosed correctly. Finding the correct dose and a correct med can be a night mare in itself sometimes. And you are absolutely right, mental illness does need to be recognized to be just the same as any other illness. Hugs!
